Aspen, Colorado is one of the best well known places to ski on Aspen Mountain. But there are also some great places to go hiking with beautiful views of the city from Maroon Bells. It is also a great area for people to come who like mountain biking, rafting, and rock climbing.

Because of its short golf season, Aspen might seem a great attraction to golfers, but it is, in fact, one of the best places to play a round. The various golf courses are surrounded by the beautiful Rockies which makes it worth every penny. There are some very prestigious courses in Aspen including a course which was design by pro golfer Jack Nicklaus himself.

Aspen is home of the Rocky Mountains, which means that there is an abundance of outstanding trails to climb. Hiking in Aspen is one of the main attractions during the summer months because of the beautiful scenery which can be seen at the top of the mountains. If you want to have a great time in Aspen, then you should find some trails and spend a day discovering the amazing local beauty.

Aspen is not limited to ski resorts and hiking mountains. Biking is a great part of Aspen with numerous bike trails which extend across the entire area. You can literally get on a bike path and go anywhere in town through these bike paths, so if you're a bike enthusiast, you should definitely bring your bicycle for a great time!

Most people love to fish, and in Aspen, it is no different. Fishing is one of the great ways to relax on a vacation. The Roaring Fork River is one of the best fishing holes. This location is known to have some of the best trout fishing in the world.

Aspen is renowned for skiing. This famous area hosts a variety of ski slopes for every level of skier. Feel the wind hit you in the face, at rushing speeds, as you slam down one of the greatest skiing areas in the world. There are numerous hotels that will shuttle you to the lifts for free. It is a once in a lifetime experience to ski in Aspen.

A popular place to snowboard in Aspen is with Aspen Expeditions, which offer four places for people to snowboard. These locations are Maroon Bells, Pyramid, Snomwass, Castle or Capitol Peak. Plus there are two levels to choose from based on whether or not you have ever snowboarded before.

No wonder so many people flock to Aspen each year for their skiing experience. The resorts offer accommodating packages that can cater to any budget. Many resorts offer excellent cuisine and slopes right in their back yard.
