This fishing tackle from Hardy contains many other features. The rod has a redesigned clutch system which allows easier conversion with one click. The Hardy brand is already a well-respected name in the fishing industry. Its current partnership with Greys, however, has definitely improved the quality of its line of products. The Hardy brand was established in 1872 and first became popular in the fly-fishing industry. Unlike other brands, this fishing tackle designer has continuously improved its previous designs to create new and exciting fishing equipments for both the amateur and professional anglers.

The creator of this company, William Hardy, was actually one of the most popular residents of Alnwick, Northumberland and was known to be a very good gunsmith in the year 1972. Together with his brother John James, Hardy established a businesses that offers premium shotguns and pistols which he called as the Hardy Brothers Partnership. Their desire of creating weapons for destructions was outgrown by their passion for fishing after doing the hobby every holiday season. After some time thinking, the brothers finally decided to make a 360 degree shift in their company's direction and made the Hardy fishing tackle line for the UK and world market.

The first models of fishing tackle the company created used materials such as hickory, greenheart, and lancewood. The Hardy Palakona Bamboo rod which is a hexagonal bamboo rod was their first invention and was awarded with the 1881 exhibition gold medal. The business, however, decided to stop joining such exhibitions after some time. Despite of this though, the brand's tradition of creating rods that combine both excellent craftmanship and modern technology still continues. Every time this rods are cast, the angler will still definitely feel that it is one of the best brands in the market. Angels seemed to have been truly responsible in bringing this rod into our world.
