By Mervin Stollendall

You've already done basketball, volleyball, reading, cooking, mountain climbing and so much more but you still haven't found the perfect hobby. This is maybe because you haven't done fishing UK.

Fishing is the act of capturing fish. It can be categorized a various ways depending on what area.

Oftentimes, it is categorized according to purpose. Fishing here is seen as either commercial, recreational and sport. Commercial fishing pertains to one that is dedicated as a form of livelihood. Recreational fishing on the other hand sees fishing as a pastime, and sport fishing deems fishing as a game.

Another way to classify fishing is based on the location by which fishing is conducted. Fishing has two types here: marine and freshwater fishing. Marine fishing includes subcategories like deep sea fishing, surfcasting and netting. Freshwater fishing then is fishing with the utilization of the equipment angling tackle or it can either be pike angling. Also part of this category is trapping.

Apart from the two fishing categorizations mentioned above, fishing can also be divided according to the kind of fish that's being captured. First off there's game fishing. This involves fishing with 'game' fish species like salmon, brown trout, sea trout and rainbow trout. Game fishing is carried out in bodies of water like streams, rivers and lakes. Second is coarse fishing which is basically fishing of just about any type of fish that resides in freshwater. Examples of fish species caught in coarse fishing are roach, perch, tench, carp, bream, rudd, pike and chub. All these fish species are not to be eaten and have to be returned back to the water. The last type here is sea fishing which as the name obviously implies is fishing in or by the sea. Available sea water fishes that are oftentimes captured are the bass, Pollack, mackerel, plaice, cod and haddock.

So those are all the classifications of fishing; you can choose which one interests you most and experience the best hobby ever.
