Enjoy a Nice Michigan Fishing Trip in Iron County

If you are looking for a beautiful place to go on a relaxing vacation, Iron County, Michigan is the place to go. It is located on the upper peninsula and is a great place to get away from your busy life. There are over 900 miles of rivers there, beautiful trees all over, and 314 lakes. This is a great place for all of the seasons. There is always something to do in the winter or summer. You can enjoy good old Michigan fishing in the summer and enjoy the cold fresh air in the winter. The small town feel of Iron County will provide you with great hospitality and hotels.

Michigan fishing is not famous for nothing, there are numerous lakes in Michigan making the fishing amazing. There are so many different types of fish to catch in the Great Lakes. There is Trout, Walleye, Bass, Sunfish and much more. You will be amazed by all the different kinds of fish and the amount of fish there are. If you are a beginner or a very skilled fisherman, you are bound to catch something. If you do not feel like good old Michigan fishing, then you would enjoy the beautiful golf courses of upper Michigan. Iron County has three courses alone and they are all available to the public. Most of the golf courses are near the hotels in Iron County and have nice clubhouses where you can relax. You can even do some Michigan fishing in the morning and enjoy a round of golf in the afternoon.

Iron County has many great lodges where you can stay. They are beautiful and have character. If you want a break from the modern hotel feeling, then a lodge would be a good option for you to rest after a day of Michigan fishing. There are lodges within walking distance of golf courses and fishing, so that you are close to your Lake Michigan fishing adventure. You will enjoy visiting the upper peninsula very much any time of year. If you like the outdoors there is so much for you to do.

Now if you are not such an adventurous person, you can still enjoy a trip to Iron County in the upper peninsula. There are museums you can visit and very charming old buildings that you cannot find in big tourist cities. Just because you are by the Great Lakes does not mean you have to try Michigan fishing. You can enjoy a boat ride on the beautiful water. At night you can walk along the Paint River Boardwalk and do some shopping. There is something for everyone in Michigan.
