What Are Some Of The Best Largemouth Bass Lures

By Paulette Hart

Since largemouth bass are not all too particular about what they it, it makes it a lot easier for a fisherman to use a variety of different largemouth bass lures. You will discover that there are a nice variety of different styles that you can choose from. They seem to enjoy the type that creep into the weeds, float on the top as well as ones that look like bait that is living.

Buzz baits and crank baits are extremely good styles that are popular with many who love to fish. The buzz bait lure is one that will float on top of the water when you are fishing in a river or a lake. It has a blade on it that will spin the lure around when you reel it in and keeps it on top of the water.

The crank bait is just the opposite of the buzz bait. This type of lure is specifically designed to go under the water. This type of lure has a type of lip that will make it dive to certain depths controlled by the fisherman.

largemouth bass lures such as spinner baits are specially created for more shallow waters. They have a blade with a skirt that will hide its large hook. These lures can go through weeds where the fish like to hide in waiting to ambush their prey.

Plastics are also quite good when it comes to largemouth bass lures. These are the kind that are designed to look like worms, frogs, lizards as well as crayfish. If you want to go slowly through water that is shallow and weedy this is the type of lure you are going to want to use. As the lure goes through the weeds, they generally will catch the attention of the fish that are hiding in the weeds.

Plastics like the frogs and mice are great largemouth bass lures for topwater fishing. You also will want to include those with blades and propellers as well as crawlers and a few poppers. All these will remain on top and they do not sink. They are especially great to use in dim light.
