Although almost all of the renovation work is going to be done on the beams that support the pier, the railings, brackets and planks will also be assessed and renovated as required. In spite of some concerns by a few locals, the project clearly does offer its positives for a lot of others. For instance, sub contractors in the Lee county vicinity are quite happy with the project. Mainly because of the project stipulation that sub contracts engaged in the work must be local.
