Hook your live bait on its eyes and nose so that it will stay alive and not look suspicious.

Your traps can now be thrown in the water. The large ones are staying above the small ones which are feeding. If you are ready to catch, troll and drift your line.

Chumming is throwing pieces of trap in the water or hanging a bag of it along side your boat. This can put the fishes closer to the surface near your boat. Squids are usually used for chums, along with its favorite food. Do not use live traps as chums, save them for your lines.
